2024 National Academy of Sciences Mini–Symposium (Lipsett)
Join us for "part 1" of our annual National Academy of Sciences Mini-Symposium! On September 24, we will hear inspirational, 30-minute lectures from three of our distinguished principal investigators — Drs. Kunkel, Kwon-Chung, and Trinchieri — elected to the NAS in 2024. See their bios below. Note that "part 2" is scheduled for November 13, when we will hear from Drs. Steven Rosenberg and Sandra Wolin.

Explore the world of 3D printing at the NIH Library! Join us in the Library for an immersive experience featuring hands-on training sessions that cover the essentials of 3D printing and design principles. These sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis and culminate in a Q&A with some of NIH’s 3D printing experts. Throughout the event, you'll have the opportunity to view a diverse collection of 3D-printed models and prototypes. Whether you're new to 3D printing or a seasoned user, this event offers valuable insights into its applications in research.

Independent Research Scholars Networking Event, FAES Classroom 3&4
The purpose of the Independent Research Scholars Program is to improve the workforce diversity of independent research scientists by selecting scholars who have a commitment to building a diverse Intramural Research Program (IRP). The expectation is that the participants will be competitive for Investigator (tenure-track) positions in the IRP and outside after succeeding in this position.
