How a human brain works, has always been a challenging question. Visual and auditory short term memory add more complexity to the brain functionality. In this study we explore the activation of different regions of the human brain using functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy. We asked healthy subjects to participate in n-back experiment which we designed to evaluate visual/auditory short term memory. Furthermore, we wanted to investigate the relationship between high memory workload and the capacity of the visual/auditory short term memory and their performance. Here we apply some Machine Learning techniques such as SVM, LDA and ... to analyze the data and get the results.
