Festival Food and Music Fair

Wednesday, Oct. 16
Thursday, Oct. 17

The Technical Sales Association, the NIH Credit Union, and the NIH Recreation and Welfare Association will sponsor lunch on both Wednesday, October 16, and Thursday, October 17, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Research Festival tent behind Natcher cafeteria. These lunches will be limited to the first 1000 NIH employees (each day) who register online. A printed e-mail confirmation is mandatory for entry into the lunch tent. Food will be free and you will have the opportunity to taste selections from a variety of local restaurants including Corner Bakery, Ledo Pizza, Guapos, Honey Baked Ham, Salt River Seafood, Hollywood East Cafe, and Hard Times Cafe.

On Wednesday, music will be provided by "Crossfire" -- an original Music Experience with Country, Blues, Rock, over 30 original compositions. This duo is lead by Bo Heck, an NIH Employee for over 20 years (Clinical Center Electrician). He will be playing along with Will Landis from York, Pa. Crossfire plays mostly in South Center Pennsylvania, and will be here at NIH for your listening enjoyment.

Thursday's entertainment will be devoted to a Jazz-Pop duo. Led by two individuals from "Streetlife" -- Julio Fonseca and Kent Ashcraft -- you will hear Jazz along with some of your favorite music from the past. Come listen and enjoy some great sounds.

The lunch is a time to relax, meet some new friends, and enjoy local restaurants. Come and join us.

Sorry, the food fair is completely sold out.
