Abstract

The Animal MRI (AMRI) Core performs MRI of mouse and rat models for the NHLBI intramural program and their collaborators in other institutes. We perform many types of MRI studies, encompassing both structural and dynamic information, with a focus on cardiovascular imaging. Study types include cardiac function and stress testing, vascular imaging, angiography, tumor and muscle perfusion, kidney and whole body imaging. AMRI Core imaging is carried out in the NIH Mouse Imaging Facility (MIF), which is a NIH-wide animal imaging resource.
