Abstract

Welcome to the NCI Core Fluorescence Imaging Facility (Bldg. 41)! We are open to everyone within the NCI, and time permitting we also welcome collaborations with investigators from other NIH institutes or beyond. We operate a suite of state-of-the-art fluorescence microscopes that enable a broad spectrum of fluorescence imaging experiments. We provide expert guidance and troubleshooting in the design, execution, interpretation and publication of these experiments. We develop new technologies for both imaging and image analysis, and as these technologies mature we provide our users access to them. We also offer instruction and outreach in current techniques in fluorescence microscopy in the form of classes and lectures to the NCI, NIH and the larger scientific community.
