Molecular Epidemiology of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma: Etiology, Prognosis, and Underlying Mechanisms 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Co-chaired by Sophia Wang, NCI and Stephen Chanock, NCI

Conference Room A, Natcher Conference Center

Exciting scientific advances are furthering our understanding of the etiology and mechanisms of action of lymphomagenesis, with implications for prevention and treatment. Here, we bring together NIH community scientists with expertise as epidemiologists, immunologists, clinicians and genomicists to describe the exciting advances being made in the intramural community and more broadly. They will describe the current understanding of the causes of lymphoma and apply this information towards its control and treatment.

Program:

Host Factors and Environmental Challenges in Lymphoma Etiology
Patricia Hartge, NCI

Common Genetic Polymorphisms and Risk for Lymphoma Etiology and Prognosis: From the NCI-SEER Case Control Study of NHL
