Join your fellow NIH employees in celebration
of the NIH intramural
research program and the 2001 NIH Research Festival!
The Technical Sales Association
and the NIH Recreation and Welfare Association, in cooperation
with Eurest Dining Services, will sponsor lunch on both
Wednesday, October 3, and Thursday, October 4, from
12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Research Festival tent
behind Natcher cafeteria. These lunches will be limited
to the first 1000 NIH employees (each day) who register
online. A printed e-mail confirmation is mandatory for
entry into the lunch tent. Food will be free and you
will have the opportunity to taste selections from a
variety of local restaurants including Corner Bakery,
Hard Times Cafe, Ledos, Guapos, Eurest Dining Services
and Hollywood East Cafe.
Protocol
Violation, an eclectic NIH-borne alternative rock sextet,
will provide the musical entertainment. Redefining the
term "alternative medicine" this group incorporates
a healthy mix of musical styles into a sound that is
truly unique. Perhaps most interesting, however, is
the fact that the boys are all NIH scientists/plysicians.
