Abstract

We examined urine cannabinoid stability up to 4 weeks after controlled cannabis smoking. Participants provided written informed consent and the NIDA IRB approved the study. Urine was collected after ad libitum cannabis smoking and quantified by LCMSMS. Low and high concentration pools were prepared for each individual. Baseline concentrations were obtained within 24h, from specimens stored at 4°C. Stability was evaluated after 1, 2 and 4 weeks at 4°C and -20°C, and 1 week at room temperature (RT). Sixteen cannabis smokers (12M, 4F) participated. THC-glucuronide was quantifiable in all subjects’ low & high pools. THCCOOH-glucuronide was
