Abstract

An ultrasensitive electrochemical sensor for detecting matrixmetalloproteinase-14(MMP14) activity is developed by peptide cleavage with gold nanoparticles as signal amplification. Herein, we prepare peptide-ferrocene (Fc) layer attached to AuNPs film on gold electrodes by lay-by-lay method. Fc is used as an electroactive reporter and peptide as recognition and sensing cleavage site.
