Abstract

SAGE (Simplified Analysis of Gene Expression) is designed to parse raw, ungrouped data exported from real time qPCR instruments and quickly analyze relative gene expression values based on user supplied information. In short, the user inputs their sample template, replicate information, list of genes, and *.txt raw data file. SAGE then analyzes the gene expression data, calculates the difference in cycle threshold (dCT) by using the comparative CT method, and provides the user with relative quantitation of gene expression (fold changes) for each experimental sample. Further, SAGE provides immediate graphical results and downloadable data from current or previously analyzed and archived experiments.
