2005 Festival Food and Music Fair

The Technical Sales Association and the NIH Recreation and Welfare Association will sponsor the NIH Research Festival Food and Music Fair to be held Tuesday, October 18 from 12pm to 2pm and Wednesday, October 19 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. The event takes place in the Research Festival tent, on the grounds outside the Natcher Cafeteria. These lunches will be limited to the first 1600 NIH employees. A printed e-mail confirmation is mandatory for entry into the lunch tent. Food will be free and the opportunity to taste selections from a variety of local restaurants including the Bean Bag Deli, Chick-fil A, Guapo's, Hollywood East Cafe, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, and Hard Times Cafe.

Providing music this year will James Mabry, local blues artist--- his wide ranging musicals are influenced by Albert King, Jimmy Reed, Louis Jordan, B.B. King, and Muddy Waters. James Mabry is a guitarist who captivates audiences with his strong, clear vocals. Catch a performance at the festival. Further information at www.jamesmabry.com.
