Dr. Edward Scolnick, renowned molecular oncologist, President Emeritus of Merck Research Laboratories, and former NCI lab chief will discuss research careers in genomics for postdoctoral and clinical fellows, offering perspectives from the pharmaceutical industry.

The NIH Office of Education and the Office of Research on Women’s Health
co-sponsor the Job Fair for NIH Postdoctoral and Clinical Fellows held annually
in conjunction with the NIH Research Festival. NIH postdoctoral and clinical
fellows who are completing their research training and seeking permanent
employment will have the opportunity to meet with a number of representatives
from industry, government, the academic community, and nonprofit organizations.
